Lots of people crave travel, but it can feel daunting if you’re thinking of exploring an unknown destination alone. In this session, I’ll be sharing what I’ve learned from traveling on my own as a woman to destinations around the globe (and also planning countless solo trips for clients!) We’ll cover loads of tips for general safety, ways to meet people wherever you go, what to fill an itinerary for one with and the types of destinations that are ideal for every kind of personality while flying solo.

Even if you’re not actively planning a trip (or maybe you’ve never really given the idea thought at all) this course is a great way to learn why solo travel can be one of the most fulfilling, fun and empowering endeavors— regardless of your civil status.

Hi, I'm Whitney.

Travel Specialist + Founder of Blonde Atlas

After traveling to destinations around the world pretty much non-stop for the last 5 years, I've visited over 40 countries and 150 cities to date (I've even written about it for international publications like British Airways Magazine and Huffington Post!) I've learned loads along the way (if I had to guess, a lot of the travel questions you’re probably asking yourself right now are experiences that I’ve lived through first-hand!) As a social person by nature, I've built an extensive Rolodex of international friends who have taught me the best of their local cultures and shown me the their favorite spots in each destination. I love sharing that knowledge with other people so they can fall in love with travel the same way that I have. In fact, I love it so much, that I've made a full-time career as a bespoke travel planner! My goal is to empower people to learn more of the world so they can see more of it themselves.
